I have a date tonight and I'm looking for a decent Italian place in or around downtown that won't break the wallet. I was thinking Gargi's or Pescatore. Any other thoughts?

        Bravissimo in downtown www.bravissimoorlando.com

    2. I like Bravissimo, but it's lost some of it's shine in recent times. Why not try Nonna Trattoria ed Enoteca? Food is amazing, good wine list. Delish!!!

I second Nonna. It's hip, reasonably priced and wonderful.

      2. Make it another vote for Nonna. But just in case you can't get in, Adriatico, just up Edgewater at 2417, is also good.

          Scott-
How nice to see you are still around!

I can't tell you how much my wife and I relied on and appreciated your Orlando Sentinel restaurant recommendations the past 20+ years. I am glad to hear about your FLog and have bookmarked it for future (and frequent) reference

To the other posters, Scott Joseph was the OUTSTANDING restaurant critic for the Orlando Sentinel and had a lot of credibility with those who read his columns and appreciate good food. If he says a restaurant is good, you can rely on his judgement 100%.

            OV,
Thank you for such a kind note. You made my day!
I hope you'll visit the flog often.
