Going to the Huntington Library and looking for nice place to have lunch, not too fancy, not to plain.

Julienne is a good choice, but can be crowded sometimes.

An alternative might be Cafe Verde. http://www.cafeverdepasadena.com/cafe...

Tea at the Huntington Library though you have to make reservations in advance.

The guy who runs the French household-linens store on Mission says Bistro de la Gare is his favorite lunch place; reminds him of home! I haven't had lunch there, but his faves are the steak frites and the croque monsieur, both under $20.
