Corner of dade and purdy. It is just as good as the original and has no mosquitos.

My favorite place! Are they keeping both or fazing out Espanola? I will definitely hit it up this week!

Keeping both. Come out and support the new location. They included the tip when I went btw and I brought it up that they should not in this place because it is going to be much more of a locals crowd -- they agreed with me and said they would not do it any more but you should watch your bill just in case...

Just came from lunch at A La Folie.

Exact same menu. Same great food!

We ordered the Onion Soup, Nicoise Salad (interesting as it seemed like a poached tuna if that exists, and was good), and Croque Madame sandwich (Other half would have preferred simple white bread rather than mini french bread, but it looked good regardless). No liquor license yet, so I was not able to order a glass of white wine with my salad. Staff was attentive. They went thru great effort to give it the same feel like the original location, right down to the french bistro tiled floor and a nice tile artwork for their "logo". It was us and four other tables that either took to go or ate in, so I think they should do better than anything else that has opened up in this area of Purdy. It is a good alternative for us north end people to visit rather than trying to find parking at the original. But for atmosphere there is nothing like Espanola Way. I look forward to making this a regular stop.

I always ask for extra cheese on the onion soup.

Good news. It's one of my favorite casual places on the beach. It's just in a tough location to get to. Now we just need them to stop expanding on the beach and come OVER THE CAUSEWAY! Sorry for the exclamation.

If this one works out you may get your wish.

didn't they already try? was it on the grove? or are you hoping for biscayne?

I am happy for them. We live on Espanola and have been regulars for years...LOVE their simple but wonderful crepes and salads. We have family and friends that request this be the first place we take them when they visit...there is something about it! We celebrate birthdays and special occassions there, they even did our wedding breakfast! Anyway, nice to hear :)
