Typical deli service, no nonsense with lots of busboys delivering water and coffee and busing tables. I ordered the bacon and eggs with sourdough toast. The over-medium eggs were done perfectly – runny but the whites were fully cooked. The bacon was outstanding: crisp and flat. Fully cooked and crunchy, but not burned. The hash browns were also very good. They had a thin crust to them, but were creamy inside. Good flavor, too. Word of warning, though: There’s construction on Beverly. I think they’re landscaping. And the sidewalks one street over, on Rodeo, are completely torn up. There are large piles of dirt along the street. So traffic in the area is a bit snarled. There are also a lot of motorcycle cops, so watch where you park. The quality isn't quite what it was when the son, Barry, ran the place. But I still crave their lox & eggs and the chopped Chef Salad. The blintzes used to be pretty good too.
