Jepson brandy at TJ's - bargain alert
Yesterday I was at Trader Joe's and happened to notice Jepson Rare Mendocino Alambic Brandy on the shelf. I've always preferred Germain-Robin for a CA brandy, but being completely out, and figuring that Jepson was still a bargain at the usual $35 or so, I snagged a bottle. It rang up at $19.99.
I'm going back tomorrow for more. Maybe all they have at this store. i don't know about wider pricing or availability, but for those of you who enjoy quality California brandies, this is an absolute screaming bargain.

Just saw this myself. I'd tried and loved Jepson after my local spirits store recommended them a few years ago, then saw it at TJ's for a steal last week. This is a great beginner brandy for those who want to try out brandy-based cocktails without breaking the bank. It's also fairly nice neat.

I bot a bottle myself yesterday at the TJ's in San Francisco. According to the Jepson website, the list on this brandy is $34.

I also bought a nice bottle of Jepson Sauvignon Blanc at Trader Joe's a month or so ago. Jepson's is likely sitting on a little more inventory than they would like to be and is selling it at a discount to TJ's to get it out of their warehouse and get some cash on their balance sheet.
