NYT reported Joe Gurerra from Citerella's new restaurant on East 75th street has opened. Any one been there yet?

i went once. the food was very good, the price point is a bit high, but not outlandish. service was ok. if it wasn't in my hood i might not go back, but as it is, i probably will at some time

My husband and I have dined there a few times now, each time the food has been really great. The steamed mussel app is fantastic (only had it with the smoked tomato broth, no other variation), husband has enjoyed the grilled octopus app, and any entree we've gotten has been delicious. I hear it can get a little loud inside when crowded, but we were either there early or sat outside so it wasn't an issue. Also note, in our opinion (and we can EAT), unless you're truly starving I would say get apps and split an entree -- for example, I think the halibut portion is big.

My wife and I went last night and had an amzing meal. We started with the grilled octopus which was cooked perfectly. I then had the halibut with creamed corn, rock shrimp and chanterelle mushrooms. Again, perfectly cooked and the corn was one of the tastiest things I've ever eaten. My wife had the black cod which we were not blown away by but was cooked and seasoned well. We finished with the doughnuts with three dipping sauces which was a perfect end to the meal.
