Have only heard by word-of-mouth but rumor has it that Borgata's and Harrah's are best (both are on The Marina), Bally's Wild Wild West is the best pick among Casino's on the Boardwalk.

I've been to the Borgata buffet and Harrah's buffet. I found them both good, however, I thought the Borgata had the better buffet.

It depends on where you are staying. The Borgata has the best buffet IMO, but it is not on the boardwalk, on the boardwalk I like Caesar's for breakfast.

Sorry, I don't remember the price. We had comps and I didn't pay attention to the price. I can say that I was pleasantly surprised with the great selection of food. We were there this past summer.

I haven't been to a buffet since Borgata opened their. Their buffet is so far above the others (think cafeteria vs good dining) that I haven't turned my head. It does cost more, not a whole bunch but more.

But the Borgata does redefine the buffet; check your menu. Visit the sites. Borgata is not serving cafeteria food, while alot of other buffets do. And lot of people want that cafeteria style, look at the WIld WIld West then.

While the food at the Borgata is good, on several visits the food in the trays was not hot enough. I do not have an Alton Brown laser thermometer but the temperature of many selections was disappointing.

I like the pastrami at the Virginia City buffet at the Wild West casino if the guy slicing is professional enough to keep it in the steam cabinet in between serving. Also like the cabbage soup and peel it shrimp at Wild West. Mrs. doc likes the whipped cream machine with the desserts.

Like breakfast and / or lunch/brunch at Caesars.

Borgata has the best buffet. However, at brunch the selection is mostly limited to eggs and meats. I would go for lunch or dinner only. The stand out offering is the spring mix salad with the red wine vinaigrette-very tasty.
Sorry to go OT- but if you ever have the chance, eat at the Wynn buffet in Las Vegas- fine dining food in a buffet. Every time I go, I am floored by the food. They must be running this place at a $$$ loss to attract gamblers to the casino.
