Shopgirl26....sorry to tell you but you won't find cheese curds outside of Wisconsin...if you do...they are not fresh but have been frozen and shipped in. Your best bet is to just have them shipped directly to you from WI.

Sounds like that's what I'll have to do then. I need them to make homemade mozzarella.

My husband pulled his own mozzarella that he got from Crave Bros....but that was for work. I don't know if they sell retail. You can check. It's one of my fav. mozzarellas of all time. Crave Brothers.

I have good news for you Shopgirl26... Up in Yoder, at the Yoder Meats Retail store, right across from Carriage Crossing, I purchased cheese curds just this past Friday. They have variety as well: Pepperjack, white cheddar, and marinated with garlic and dill (I think). Enjoy!

Real cheese curds are made in Petaluma at Spring Hill Farms. The garlic curds are GREAT!!!!

Alma Creamery in Alma, Kansas makes them and many places that carry Kansas made items carry their products. They are probably the ones available at Yoder Meats.
