Asheville Saturday Green Market
We'll be back on the 17th and was wondering how the market has progressed since the summer. The last time we were there was the end of July/early August and thought it was coming along very nicely. Will they still be open and is it worth visiting?

Yes, they will be open, and yes it is definitely worth a trip! They have a lot more vendors now vs when they first opened. I am so glad that Asheville now has a large market. My favorite vendor so far is the guy with the NC shrimp - usually $10-13 for a 1 lb bag - so fresh and sweet. We missed it this weekend but were there last week - seemed heavy on the apples, potatoes, peppers, squash and flowers. And although we don't get them every week, I love the cheeses and breads - many different vendors to choose from.
