Looking for the best of Atlanta

I will be in Atlanta (from L.A.) in a couple of weeks for a wedding in Marietta, and I have never been before. I only have one night to eat out, and I need to have the best. This does not mean the most expensive (though I am willing to spend within reason), just the yummiest. So i need opinions from natives and travelers alike. Where did you have the best meal you ever had in Atlanta? All types of food are welcome.

all mentioned are good, but for the best (atmosphere, service, menu, attitude....), Bacchanalia wins hands down.

The best meal hmm, I've had a great meal at Restaurant Eugene. I love Antica Posta.
But the best meal would have to be Bacchanalia. It is an overall excellent experience.

Also note, I have had great meals at Sotto Sotta, Anis and Aria. You might want to look into them also.
