Where did you end up going?

There are plenty of restaurants that have great seafood dishes in town, but I can't think of anyplace that I would refer to as a seafood restaurant per se.
if you are looking for a traditional seafood restaurant i.e. lobsters, steamers... I would head out to Lenny's in Branford. If you are looking for a tasty fish dish any of the top places in town would serve you well.

Two current threads talk about fine dining in New Haven: http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/559890

(Fellow New Haveners), If you're talking seafood wouldn't Pacifico make the list?

I only went to Pacifico once and wasn't impressed. I did order beef, so if seafood is their thing i suppose I should give them another chance.

I must confess that I have only had seafood there and I've only had lunch there. We like it. I'm more askin' than tellin'.
