It used to be Hellman's or Miracle Whip
Here's the dilemma. I was about to take a jar of Helllman's Light Mayonnaise when I noticed two new light mayos on the shelf. There was Hellman's Mayonnaise Dressing with extra virgin olive oil and Hellman's Canola cholesterol free mayonnaise. Of course I read the product labels and still came way confused. So I did what any self respecting Chowhound would do - I bought all three! I have had mayonnaise every which way to attempt to discern the best tasting version and I am still confused. I am partial to the canola oil mayo. Any other opinions?
Perhaps I am off base. I have tried all three, but not at the same time like you. They all taste fine to me. I have been going with the olive oil variety as I think it is the most healthy of the three. Am I correct or way off base. No, I don't think mayo in any form is a revolutionary new health food.

Since watching my cholesterol more these days I've been using the hellman's canola cholesterol free too. I greatly prefer the regular hellman's but it's not such a bad substitute.
