New York Resturants with a 11mth old
Ok my wife and I come to New York every year to do some shopping and take in a show or two and of course eat. We also have a little time to visit some Friends.. It usually around our Aniversery. But this year we will be bring our Daughter. But we still want to go to a nice place. ( she is very good out and not loud, likes to stare at peopl which is just funny but creepy). so hopefully some of you can help.. Looking for good food that might have a high chair..
The Resturants we normal go to are : Blue Hill ( booster seat but no High Chair) not sure a clip on table chair would go over there. And Gramercy Tavern I think they have a High Chair.. ( but I not overaly thrilled with the tasting menu this time.) And we go to Peter Lugar with Friends but the wife is getting tired of steak.
Hope this helps.. PS we would most likely be dinning early..
I hadn't realized that Blue Hill and Gramercy Tavern (at least the main dining room) were child friendly, and was having a hard time coming up with places of a similar caliber that I think would work with a young child. Do you have any more thoughts on the kind of food that you'd like?
when there young like that they usually will take them any where.. she was at French Laundry with me and my parents a few weeks ago.. (at least they have a high chair be it only one)
Not looking for french.. like veal and pork, and wife likes fish.. so thats why gramercy is so good you get a little of everything.. The problem is not to thrilled with the fall menu for the tasting.. (actually its the only tasting in town that I get full at. )
Blue Hill has a booster seat.. no High Chair, they said we could just use a stroller, but dear child does like to eat really food. and be at eye level with us..
