CMH - Deepwood, anyone been there yet?

Diane in Bexley Oct 2, 2008 07:27 AM

Would like to visit Deepwood next week for lunch. Anyone been there yet? Any recommendations? Need to re-pay good friend for special deed and thought this would be a good choice - comments? Any other suggestion downtown or Short North that are particularly noteworthy? Thanks!

A couple of people reviewed Deepwood over on Yelp: http://www.yelp.com/biz/deepwood-rest...

RJ Snappers (Short North) and Lindey's (German Village) are two of my fave dining spots, and I think some will concur with Lindey's as well.

CG, TOTALLY agree on Lindey's! This would be my choice if it were closer to my office but I need someplace in the Arena district or Short North. Thanks!

I was NOT impressed by Deepwood (aside from the Gnocchi) but I think they have potential. Lunch in the short north? Rigsby's w/o a doubt.

Snappers is pretty boring, IMO, in terms of simply being "blah" midwest Seafood. If Rosendales were open for lunch, that'd be a stellar choice......hopefully the new Details bar will be open for lunch.

I haven't tried Deepwood yet but I want to get there. FYI...Details will be open for lunch when they open.
