Best steak restaurant on the Main Line?

Looking for a good steak place for my meat-loving husband (preferably with some good salads for my vegetarian self) on the Main Line. Closer to Philly would be better than farther out, but anything will do. Thanks!

Had the Porterhouse again last night and it was great.
i really rate the steak here as high as any in the region
Sommelier was spot on with his reccomendation for the wine.
        Any comments?

I thought Flemings was not that good and won't be back.

Second Flemings. I also am vegetarian, but if you eat seafood, their lobster tempura and lobster tails are wonderful.

Further out, in Radnor, is Flemings which seems to be quite popular with the red meat crowd. Search the Chowhound site for the reviews. Might be a better bet.

The only steak restaurant I know of on the Eastern Main Line is Chops in Bala Cynwyd. I believe it is mostly a business lunch type place. The place sued Craig LaBan over his negative review of their steaks. Apparently, he did not like his "strip steak" but it was actually not a strip steak, said the restaurant. I don't recall how it turned out. I'm sorry to say, it doesn't sound promising, but maybe you can try it and form your own opinion. If you want a good steak place, there are several in Center City.
