Anyone tried Don Pollo in Bethesda?

kallisti Oct 1, 2008 08:35 AM

How is it? I haven't been able to go yet, and truth be told, I have never been to any of the chicken places, so I wouldn't have anything to compare it to; I just want to know if I should go or skip it! Thanks!

I've never been to the Bethesda location, but if they are affiliated with the Don Pollo in the Twinbrook Shopping Center in Rockville I would heartily recommend it.

I would second "treetop tom's" recommendation. The chicken at the Rockville location (Viers Mill Road) has always been excellent. Pollo ala Brasa, yucca, rice and beans - excellently done.

Is this new? Where is it located? I always just go to Chicken on the Run.

I might be remembering wrong, but I think it was going to move into the former Chesapeake Chicken & Ribs spot on Wisconsin Ave.

I think it's right next to Persimmon.

Same owners as Chicken on the Run (and same chicken).

^^Oh good. That location is even closer to me and we love COTR - so I guess it's a win-win! I'll have to try this out this week.
