Soon-To-Be Tourist seeks great grub near 34th and Park!
Hey Folks,
Some friends and I are planning a weekender in New York for late November. As an aspiring Chowhound, I'm seeking a great meal to commemorate the trip.
Any and all suggestions are welcome!
We're staying at the Grand Union Hotel at 32nd and Park.

Thanks a ton,

Hi Chandler - to help you out, it would be great to know a few things first.
1. Are you looking for one great meal or many different experiences
2. What type of food do you like
3. What's your budget
4. What sort of atmosphere do you prefer? While you don't have to answer all (or any) of these questions, the more we know, the better chance you'll get the perfect place.

How much do you want to spend (including liquor?)? Are you thinking of a high end place, and are you willing to travel. Where are you coming from?

The difficulty is that there are so very many great places. Here are some suggestions I made to another visitor recently.

For high end places, check out Eleven Madison Park, Daniel, Cafe Boulud, Gramercy Tavern, Picholine, Alto, Jean Georges, Babbo ... and many more that I'm sure I am forgetting.
