Anyone Try the Daily Grill?
Schaffer in the Herald gave it the full review and a grade of B a couple of weeks back, suggesting its American comfort-ish cuisine is not rarified enough for "food snobs" but is a solid, unpretentious value. He really liked the $25 prix fixe (soup, salad, entree, and dessert or glass of wine) and thought the service was good.
It sort of looks to me like a slightly upmarket version of a casual-dining chain. I suppose it goes on my warm list (vs. my hot list) of places I really should try but have a hard time working up any excitement about.
