Anyone Try the Daily Grill?

This place in the Pru has been open for several months now and I haven't read a whole lot about it. Has anyone been there?

Schaffer in the Herald gave it the full review and a grade of B a couple of weeks back, suggesting its American comfort-ish cuisine is not rarified enough for "food snobs" but is a solid, unpretentious value. He really liked the $25 prix fixe (soup, salad, entree, and dessert or glass of wine) and thought the service was good.

It sort of looks to me like a slightly upmarket version of a casual-dining chain. I suppose it goes on my warm list (vs. my hot list) of places I really should try but have a hard time working up any excitement about.

i went there last sunday. ordered the filet $25 prix fix meal. the filet was decent, if it was medium rare as ordered it would have been one of the better 25 dollar meals ive had. i like the menu, it seemed like upscale comfort food for the most part. nothing too exciting tho
