Dinner for 18 people on Friday night!

Hello:

My late Bday dinner has grown a little too large and my favorite restaurants cannot take such a large group on a Friday night at 7:30.

Any suggestions for some of your Manhattan favourites which can handle the large groups and do it well without breaking the bank. We expect to pay between $50-75 per person. Italian, Chinese,continental, all good.

      Chinatown Brasserie has a private room that seats about 20.

        Japanois or Indochine...ususally good with big groups

          Via Emilia and Giorgio's of Gramercy may have the capacity to take a big crowd and serves really good food.

            I'm doing a work dinner at Naples 45 tonight with a group of 16. That's usually our go to spot with a large group near the office...
            Ive also done Puttanesca with a large group.
            Portofino on First avenue is another nice option.
