Good take-out lunch at Queen and Yonge?

My son works in this area, and other than the Eaton Centre food courts, the new Chipotle Burrito place, and a few Yonge eateries, he can't find any noteworthy places for a good, cheap, take-out lunch. Any hidden gems hounds? Thanks.

www.bespressobar.com Their coffee is great. Give their panini a try.

Try Sandwich Box, on the south side of Richmond, just west of Bay - great made-to-order sandwiches and salads. Not terribly cheap, but fresh and tasty.

If he feels like walking abit (say 15mins), there is the village by the grange foodcourt (near OCAD) that has a bunch of places to eat for under ten dollars. Falafels are fantastic there, and all the places are independant from corporate chains, which adds for great variety and flavours (korean, thai, greek, caribbean, japanese)

Has he tried take out from Salad King on Gould for cheap and cheerful Thai? His best bet is to phone in his order and pick up to avoid waiting (and wading) through the lunch crowd.

Also, this thread may turn up some good options for him:
