Late-night (post 11pm) but still healthy??

Hi guys,

I know that there are probably very little to many, but are there any restaurants in Los Angeles (more near downtown LA) that have healthy food like salads, sandwiches, soups, grilled, etc but are open until very late? Like past midnight?

Tranquility Base (downtown) is open till 2am Mon.-Sat. Not exactly healthy, but I love their Solar fries.

If you feel like Chinese food, in Chinatown, Phoenix is open till 1am, or maybe it's 2am. Full House is open till about 3am.

Someone did a post about this a while ago and I kept the notes. Some of the following info may be out of date, but it's a start! NB - any review comments are *not* mine...

[Did you do a search of the board?]

      LA - LATE NIGHT dining

Kitchen 24, 1608 North Cahuenga Boulevard, between Selma Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood (323-465-2424 or kitchen24.info).
burgers and milkshakes, individual pies etc

      LIFT
6533 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood, CA 90028
Open Twenty -Two Hours Breakfast Lunch Dinner Late Night
      Catering Delivery Gourmet Grocery

just two streets west of Cahuenga...
Small bistro look to it and the food is great. They are open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and are about to open a Jazz Club in the basement of the building next month. This place is charming, affordable and exactly what Hollywood needed. Dinner entrees include everything from the most expensive item Lamb Chops for $25 to a Vegetable Pot Pie for $12. Olive Oil Braised Salmon is $18. Wine and Beer....Great place to go if you are going to the Pantages. I hear they will soon be open 22 hours a day. Check it out! Phone: 323.469.1848

Pinches Tacos, 8200 Sunset Boulevard, at Havenhurst Drive, West Hollywood (323-650-0614 or pinchestacos.com). Opposite Chateau Marmont - Open from 11 a.m. until 4 in the morning

Bodega de Cordova -- 361 S. Fairfax, just sth of 3rd
      Los Angeles, CA 90036
      323.951.1969
      Mon-Thu 5p - 1am
      Fri/Sat 5p - 2am
      Sun 3p - 12am

Magnolia just opened up in Hollywood, just down from the Arclight. Very inexpensive eats.
6266½ Sunset Boulevard, east of Vine, Hollywood, CA 90028

Also, Citizen Smith is going to open in Hollywood in a few weeks, around Cahuenga (and Selma? not exactly sure of the cross street). More upscale, will serve until 4am everyday!

      Toi -- (Thai) on Sunset

new Edendale Grill in Silver Lake is planning to stay open until midnight weekdays and until 2 a.m. on the weekends.

At Lucques in West Hollywood you can eat at the bar after 10 p.m. -- great steak frites, cheese plates, and one of the best bartenders in town.

Spago always seems to be hopping late. And any of the club/restaurants where there's a late-night scene, you can eat well after 10 p.m.

      Check Drake's in Venice

      Falcon in Hollywood

The Standard (downtown or on Sunset Boulevard).

Although, I must say, I am not a fan of Fred 62 and have boycotted the place for years (maybe the food/service is good/better now?) it’s open 24 hours …

Swingers on Beverly near Fairfax is open pretty late, I think 1 am, and definitely qualifies. Not quite downtown but not light years away either. (Especially at that time of night, you can fly on Beverly.)

The 24 hour restaurant in the downtown Standard hotel has a few things, like salads, and hummus.
