Tips for Dining, Eating, and Food Shopping in Manhattan

Fun and Different Place to eat in the NOHO/ NoLita area

I am taking a group of co-workers out from NJ to NYC to look for Trends in the food/' beverage industry. We will be stopping at a tea shop, an asian candy store and probably a dessert place (Pink Berry, Rice to Riches or something like that). I need a restuarant in the area that will be open for lunch. Most places are open for dinner only.

    1. You're right; not a plethora of lunch options in that immediate area. Look into Five Points, Prune, Ippudo, Otto, Balthazar and Cafe Gitane.

        1. The following serve lunch:
Il Buco 47 Bond St.(bet. Bowery & Lafayette St.) for Italian

Café Habana 17 Prince St. for mexican

Eight Mile Creek 240 Mulberry St. for Australian- have interesting items like Emu Carpaccio and Kangaroo steak

Ed's Lobster Bar 222 Lafayette St.(bet. Kenmare & Spring Sts.)

Chinatown Brasserie 380 Lafayette St for dim sun

            1. I would go with Ippudo (ramen house).

Except that 4th ave and 10th St is a bit removed from the Noho/Nolita area, BTW.
