Any suggestions for a quick place to get lunch near Gramercy Park or Union Square during a work break? Thanks.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Unfortunately the line at Shake Shack was too long. We ended up at Eisenberg's instead. Great 'Old New York' spot and a pretty good Tuna Melt!

love eisenbergs. sure its been around forever and looks exactly the same as it probably looked 50 yrs ago but it has great egg salad and tuna sandwiches. also matzo ball soup is quite good.

while the shack shake is good, it is definitely not a quick lunch. wildwood is good bbq and they have pretty fast service for lunch, haru for sushi, angelo & maxie's for steaks/burgers and they have outdoor seating, blue water grill for seafood/lightlunch and they have outdoor seating as well, via emilia for italian.

Definitely not quick to go to Shake Shack. Suggest Metro Bar on 21st and Bdwy. Or L'Express on 20th and Park Ave South.
