Tiztal Cafe-- Uptown
Just wanted to give a heads up on a great newish breakfast/brunch place. Tiztal is located on Clark between Leland and Wilson, it's on that kinda "no man's land" strip of Clark where there's not much going on.
Tiztal served breakfast all day and it's great! Please, order the oatmeal shake...it's spectacular. The menu is small, but covered all the bases with omelets, waffles, fresh juices and fruit. The other clear standout aside from the oatmeal shake is the breakfast potatoes. I'm pretty sure they're deep fried, and they're delicious. Crunchy, creamy, salty and garlicky perfection.
The place is small and casual, the service is attentive and there was no wait at noon on a Sunday. Enjoy!
