Just had brunch at the Four Seasons this morning. It was outstanding (although the shrimp sucked).

nsxtasy, Thanks for your list of restaurants dated Jan. 26, 2007.
This is a comprehensive list I'm sure, but for someone visiting Chicago it is of little help.
I'm looking for a high quality Brunch, served in downtown Chicago not just a place for breakfast.
        Any current suggestions?

That topic has been updated regularly since then, and all the suggestions in it are still current.

The highest end brunches in the greater downtown area are the ones in the hotels on Michigan Avenue - the Cafe in the Ritz-Carlton, Seasons in the Four Seasons, and NoMI in the Park Hyatt. They're not inexpensive, though.

The Cafe in the Ritz-Carlton, Seasons in the Four Seasons, and NoMI in the Park Hyatt is what I am looking for. I can fix French toast and scrambled eggs at home. Thanks jesteinf for you rec. on the the Four Seasons.
