Problem with size of site page not fitting on screen & operation problem

Chowhound no longer fits on my screen...a good portion is "lost" beyond the right side of the screen. Changing the font size is easy in Safari, but it has no effect on this problem.
Also..this problem persists...I use "Hotposts" ... after I click on a post and read it and use my back arrow to return to the previous page.. which might for example have held 1-30 strangely goes back to a page which might say 1-3 posts...I have to reclick on my "Hotpost link to return to the real 'original' page which might say 1-30 posts!!!
...and yes for me too the site is glacially white..I feel the need for sunglasses!
If I should be doing something that I am not which will relieve the previous problems, please let me know.

Safari 3.1.2
Mac OSX 10.4.11
Powerbook G4

I had to look up on help how to do this, so I'm unsure as to whether it will work...okay it worked...when I try to balance the screen with the bottom horizontal blue bar, no matter what I do the whole page doesn't show!

Our Tech Production team is busy tackling the post-launch site fixes and doesn't have time to reply to every post about display issues. They are looking at and addressing these problems as quickly as they can, including Mac OSX, Safari specific issues like yours. This should be fixed soon, hang tight.

Thanks guys...nice to know I am not alone, or not adjusting my screen properly...!

I have the same problem, though a little different. When I go to the "boards directory, I can't see past "NYC Metro"...all other boards are beyond the screen and, unless i use my down button, everything below is lost to me.
