My DH has a rather strange request...Northwest Vegas Thai

Well, strange to me, anyway. He loves Thai food; next to Indian it could be every day food for us. But neither one of us cooks Thai dishes.

Now, of course, our favorite Thai restaurant is Lotus of Siam. But even though it is in our city, it is not in our zipcode...in fact we live a good twenty miles away from the place. Hubby tells me that there are times when he feels like Thai, and especially possibly takeout, but doesn't feel like making the trek past downtown to LOS....and of course, there are times (particularly on a Saturday night) where the popularity of that restaurant would make a spontaneous visit impractical....

So hubby has asked me to poll the hounds: Do any of you know of any decent (doesn't have to be spectacular) Thai places in Centennial Hills or other parts of Northwestern Las Vegas.....Even Summerlin might work. TIA!

I have friends in the Northwest who like Pin-Kaow, too. Besides the convenience of it being close, they like the fact that they aren't tempted to blow as much money on wine as at LOS, which they prefer food-wise.

Village Square is Fort Apache and Sahara.

Two suggestions: Pin Kaow. It's the best Thai that's close to my house. Southeast corner of Rainbow and Lake Mead. My favorite, especially for their lunch specials is Prommares. Northeast corner of Sahara and Torrey Pines.

Archi's Thai Kitchen just opened up in Village Square in the old Pick Up Stix location next to the theater. No liquor license yet, but the food was very good both times I ate there for lunch. I've eaten many times at the location on West Flamingo, but this one is close to home and like your DH, sometimes the trip to LOS is daunting.

Where exactly is Village Square??? I'm really new to Las Vegas, and don't know where that is....I like Archi's (I work in the same strip mall as the one on West Flamingo, and "the girls" and I like to lunch there....), so an Archi close to home would be a good tip. Thanks!!
