FrankFurt/ Helsinki Trip
Going to Frankfurt (3days) then Helsinki(2 days). Need help in where to eat. Good solid food.Doesn't have to be Michelin **** ! Traditional,interesting restaurants.

My personal favorite in Frankfurt is der Schwarze Stern. Right on the Römerplatz! I have been there on two separate trips to Frankfurt. And if I am lucky enough to get a third trip to Frankfurt I will go again.

Sorry to say, but all the places around the Römer are tourist traps. Not a single Frankfurter will go there. Better go to Sachsenhausen and try some traditional Applewine places like Wagner oder Das gemalte Haus oder Fichtikränzi.
Well, the best place is Amador*** in Langen about 20 minutes from Frankfurt - be sure not to miss that. All the Michelin starred places in Frankfurt itself have a poor price-quality ratio.

Thank you for the advice on Fankfurt. In addition to Helsinki, I must now go to Tampere. I can't believe anyone on this site can recommend good food in Tampere or has been there.
Any other advice on Frankfurt or Finland would be appreciated.
