Upscale Seafood Baltimore

Hi all,

I have friends of my parents coming to town tomorrow night (I'm 28, they're in their 40's)
from Australia, and they are spending one night here before going to London. They are very wealthy, seafood lovers, eat out alot, but not snobby, and I'd like to take them somewhere that showcases great seafood, and also Baltimore, since they are only here one night. It needs to be upscale, around $20-30 for a main course. I am considering Blue Sea Grill, Watertable, Tabrizi's, and also The Brass Elephant. Any other recommendations please?

TIA!

Other places that I've used for entertaing out of towners:
    Woodberry Kitchen
    Gertrude's

I would shy away for all the places you mentioned (they are all good, just personal preference).

For upscale, I would take them to the Black Olive in Fells Point. I have always enjoyed both my meal and service there. It fits your description perfectly or up scale but not snobby.

Now for down scale, I would take them to Mama's on the Half Shell. That would showcase Baltimore a little more. Perhaps you can do both! Take them to a nice meal at the Black Olive and then show them how Baltimoreans do it and hit Mama's for drinks are raw oysters.

FWIW: I've had night and day experiences at Black Olive. On one occasion we had fantastic food and service. While on the other occasion it was terrible. Easily the worst server I've ever had, and the food was mediocre at best.

I echo KAZ's rec of Mama's. One of Baltimore's gems.

Blue Sea Grill is terrific. Kali's Court has very fresh seafood and is a lovely, upscale restaurant.

You may want to check out Pisces in the Hyatt. I haven't been there in quite some time, but the view is stunning and the seafood offerings were very fresh. And, it is pricey. FoiGras

I think you should consider Kali's Court as well. Heart of Fells Point, and they have great seafood.
