Hopewell Valley Vineyards also sets up shop, so you can grab a good glass of wine and walk around. There's also a beer vendor. The food is excellent, and if you have kids, they have a wrist band day for them to ride the rides all day for one price (limited rides/games, however). We go every year & I think it's worth the trip.

The complete name is The Mercer County Italian American Festival.

It's held at Mercer County Park in West Windsor
Very popular with the locals, but I don't think it's worth an hour drive

We go to this every year. I'm not sure it's worth an hour's drive, but it is fun. There are lots of food vendors, including local restaurants and purveyors that set up (Mamma Rosa's, Pete's Steakhouse, Porfirio's, Peoples Bakery to name a few), and there is also "Carnival Food". There is a couple of stages for music and performances, rides, etc.
