Looking for new lunch and dinner spots in West Midtown

I'm going to be in the West 50s all day on Friday: dentist appointment at noon, concert at Terminal 5 at 7 p.m. I've had quite a few meals in the neighborhood, so I'm looking for some new spots for both lunch and dinner. Willing to head into the 40s or head east. Nothing that would break the bank, I'm open to anything except sushi. But my dining partner for each meal will be vegetarian.

Here's where I've been:

Wondee Siam
Pam Real Thai
Vynl Diner
Island Burgers and Shakes
Rice and Beans
Meskerem
Basilica
Amarone
Teodora
Puttanesca
Amy's Bread and Sullivan Street Bakery
Carnegie Deli

Any help would be appreciated!

The Mexican food at Tulcingo del Valle is some of the best and most honest Pueblan cooking you will find in that part of Manhattan. Luckys Famous has my favorite veggie burger and onion rings, but Five Napkins will likely have more vegetarian options. Q2 Thai is surprisingly satisfying for standard NYC Thai and a good value. Of course Kashkaval is a perrenial favorite.

If you love a good muffaletta (i mean who doesn't) go to the Delta Grill!

I've always had a good experience at Roberto Passon, if you're up for Italian. I haven't been in a while but I recall a 'hound raved about a very reasonably priced lunch they had there several months ago, I think. May have been a prix-fixe deal, but am not certain
