Rte. 24 with Small Children

We live in Newport, RI and plan to get together Friday night somewhere halfway with our friends from Mansfield, MA. Combined we have a total of four 2-3 year olds. We're trying to think of a kid friendly restaurant (i.e. loud) with halfway decent food. Maybe off of Rte. 24? Providence, Attleboro? Any suggestions?

We love all types of food :-)

Thanks in advance!

I've had good luck bringing kids to Dave & Busters in the Providence Place Mall.
The foods just OK, but you can have adult beverages while you supervise the kids in the very large arcade.

Any particular kind of food, your either looking for and wouldn't consider?

Places we take our sometime shrieky 11 month old are:

East Ave Cafe in Pawtucket. It is right off the highway, has a great selection of beers on tap and in the bottle, and solid, if not great, food. Also a great place to watch the Sox. Trinity Brewhouse in Providence is a similar kind of option.

LJ's just over the Providence line in Pawtucket. Best BBQ in the area. It has a much fancier feel in its new location, but it is still BBQ, so I assume no one is going there for a quite romantic dinner.

Lucky Garden in North Providence for authentic Chinese or Little Chopsticks on Smith Hill in Providence for americanized Chinese.

Not Just Snacks for Indian on Hope St. in Providence. No atmosphere to speak of, but great food.
