Kid Friendly Eats near the Children's Museum

Ladycale Sep 24, 2008 08:21 AM

Hi all -

I think the title says it all. I'm thinking about going with my husband and soon-to-be 1 year old to the Children's Museum on his birthday. I'm looking for a good lunch or early dinner place nearby that will be OK with kids. Thanks!

Flour Bakery is nice an casual (counter service), and your one year old can pick out a birthday treat! One block away from Children's Museum.

the Au Bon Pain in the Museum now has a special Children's Menu with healthy things too - much better than the McDonalds before the renovation -

depending on the time of your visit, there's also a Finagle a Bagle across the street from the museum and a pizza/salad/sandwich bar place a block down the street from the museum (heading away from downtown, same side of the street as the museum)

Do you mean Metro? I wouldnt dare bring children in there most days between 11:30 and 1:30. I wont even go in during that time- complete nightmare!!!

Ditto. The Au Bon Pain is decent enough and most convenient with kids!

Flour Bakery's menu looks good... I may have to try that. Thanks!
