Bulldog in Lowertown? (St. Paul MN)
This might be kind of a shot in the dark but does anyone know when/if the Lowertown (Downtown St. Paul) location is going to open? There have been signs in the windows stating "Coming Soon!" since May. I got a glimmer of hope last week when they actually painted "Bulldog Lowertown" on the windows but still no indication that the doors will open anytime soon. There is a serious shortage of good bars in the Lowertown side of downtown so I'm getting impatient! Anyone know anything? Thanks!

A friend of mine, just last Thursday, called the Mpls location to inquire about the opening date (first it was Sept 1 for the RNC, then Oct 1....) They said they'd be opening on or around October 14th. I'm not holding my breath, but hope that they're right! I'm looking forward to it! (I live downtown)

I work at City Hall and bumped into Mayor Coleman on the street and asked him about Bulldog. He said he didn't know when the official opening was but hoped it was soon because he could use a good hamburger. And then he said it was unfortunate that it wasn't ready to open this weekend for St. Paul Art Crawl. I so agree. It would have been great exposure for them.
