I read in todays AZ Republic of Chef Beeson's passing. What a great loss to our culinary scene.
He was one of Phoenix's Maverick's along w/ Christopher Gross, Roxand and Eddie Matney that began to change the culture of Phx cuisine.......
I will always remember a wonderful meal I had @ The Pointe that was fresh and innovative.....

I was most acquainted with his tenure at Convivo, which I frequented because it was right in my neighborhood. He inherited the concept from the original owners but kept it going strong while he was there.
