Turkey in Toronto on U.S. Thanksgiving?
Hi, guys.
U.S Thanksgiving marks the 10th anniversary of my Canadian citizenship, so I'm hoping to have a Thanksgiving (turkey and trimmings) celebration dinner for about 20 people. Ah, but where. Turducken at Southern Accents is an option (even better it's nearby me) and I guess I could go retro-gauche at Town & Country buffet (yes, the train cars - ack!) where we had turkey back then, but does anyone have any other ideas? Thanks!

My recommendation would be to approach a quality, smallish, middle-level family-run restaurant and see if in exchange for 20 covers pre[paid they would let you have the restaurant to yourself for the evening - I think of Seniors the steak house - I am sure Eddy would roast you a turkey or two. Also Roberto at Grano would probably rise to the challenge - they have a private room perfect for that number - simple and everyone at one table with champers and hors d'oeuvres to start and lots of food. Enjoy !
