Hey - I've read about all of these great dinner deals on the Westside, but I don't live there. I'm trying to find out good dinner deals on the Eastside so I don't spend three days in traffic (Los Feliz, EP, Silverlake, Atwater, even Glendale).

I'm looking for Tuesday night (um, yes, that's tonight, but it could also be next week). If you know of great deals on other nights, feel free to post too. Thanks!

Shiro in South Pasadena has a $34.50 bistro night menu on Wednesdays.

I'd be curious about other eastside deals too.

Thanks - Slacker and Schrutefarms - I'll definitely check these out. Seems the eastside is a little less into the weekly promotions than the westside, though...

Another dinner deal (also in Hollywood) on Monday nights, is the prix fixe at Lou - 3 courses paired with 5 wines for $55. Definitely not super cheap, but good for a special occasion or if you're a wino:)

As for the LA Chinese food - I usu go to Yang Chow - love their slippery shrimp - but if you know of a much better spot that's not super far, lemme know.

Restaurant 15 in Echo Park has a special 3-course deal, $19 @ 15 (used to be $15 @ 15...damn crappy economy). It's available every day from 5pm to 6:30pm, if you don't mind eating a little on the early side. Unfortunately I haven't been their even though it's in my hood, but I've seen some fairly good reviews (burger is supposed to be especially tasty).
