I'm very upset. my grandmother bought kinder chocolate at ben gurion airport duty-free and brought it home to new york. i looked at it- and it has no hechsher!! it said made in germany or something. i was so mad. She told me that these are specially made, and are kosher, but they just dont label them as kosher. people please help me! if you know any information of the Kinder Chocolates sold at Ben Gurion airport Duty-free, please tell me.

no, there wasn't. just a sticker in hebrew on top that says 4 + 1 free, meaning buy four packages and get one free

at this site: http://www.jewishireland.org, they do list kinder as kosher. perhaps it is one of those things where there is no hasgacha on the wrapper

thank you very much. but, when i looked at it, it showed many items in the kosher column that are not kosher, so i dont 100% trust it. and thats ireland, not germany.

you could contact the company that manufactures it to see if it is one of those items under supervision but with no heksher on it. Outside the US, manufacturers feel less of a need to place a heksher on the package

So what do they list that's not kosher? My experience is that Kinder products are accepted as kosher in Europe.

I have bought this for years in Israel both at the airport and Machane Yehuda. Always remember it having hasgacha, and always made in Europe somewhere. I'm guessing you're probably OK

As an aside, my dad bought the Kinder Eggs last week (at the Tachanat Rakevet in Ramat Gan) to bring back to NY. He paid 30 Shek- close to $9.00- PER EGG. That is not a typo! I think it is time to wwean my kids off their addiction!

Wow, they're so cheap in Hungary, around 50 cents or so each. My MIL brings them over in egg cartons, lol.
