I'm getting both of the kinds of errors reported by JoanN and Chuckles, as well as 502 errors. They are pretty constant today, and the exception is actually getting to a thread or board, rather than getting an error.

same here - i can't even open the boards (it took probably 30 tries to just get to the technical board to see what was going on!)

Yup. About four out of five clicks I'm getting the "slight problem" Chow application error which offers the choice of going back the the previous page or going to the Chow homepage, and when I choose the Chow home page I get the "Explorer cannot download / wwwchow.com. Internet explorer was not able to open this Internet site" message.

Engineering is looking into the problems, which yes, are more serious than normal. We will post an update when this has been fixed.

DAMN I so wish you could send an Email blast when the boards go down! I've been going through withdrawal almost all day at work! LOL I do see that they're moving along at a decent pace right now - hope that remains the case.

Resolved? I sincerely hope so. This is the first time I have been able to access the site and actually make a reply since early this morning......

At this point I 'm waiting to see if it gets posted.....

7:55 Edit - .... OK did it work?

Engineering staff - just want to say thanks for putting in the fix. The site seems to be back to almost full strength - boards are loading, new posts are showing with a NEW flag, posts are posting, edits are editing, and things seem to be cooking along.
