Good Food Show in November, anyone going?

I know that this is bordering on being early in the extreme but hey-ho ;)

Is was just wondering if there is any other Chowhounds that have planned to go to the Good Food Show in B'ham at the end of November?

I'm heading there on the 26th of November and thought that it might be an idea to try and sort out some kind of Chow meeting? Maybe at the NEC or perhaps at some nice location in B'ham after the show.

Anyone interested?

Have you been to the Good Food Show before? I went to the one in Birmingham last year. It wasn't my cup of tea, but I guess it depends what you're looking for. The saddest thing for me was that it was hard to concentrate on the products and connect with the vendors among all the heaving crowds. One tip: be prepared to elbow the students and pensioners out of the way, or be elbowed (repeatedly) yourself... I don't mean to discourage you. I think my experience was just soured by the fact that I hadn't expected that type of crowd.
