New England style hot dog/lobster roll buns in San Diego


I'm looking for these style buns in San Diego. Anyone seen them here or know of a good website to order them from?

  1. The closest thing I've found fresh-baked locally is pan de sal at Filipino bakeries.

    1. Do you mean the roll is sliced on the top rather than on the side, thus holding the dog/lobster in place much better, and allowing more condiments and less breakage. I've been here for five years and never once found this style of bun/roll. I'd like to know if it's out there.
