Best round challah in Montreal

I recall a bakery on Victoria in Westmount that baked kosher style round challah's and other wonderful dishes for Rosh Hashanah. Do you remember the name of this store and do you have any other suggestions?

I'm a bit late but Cavalleros on Sherbrooke and Victoria makes the best round challahs for the holidays!

cant go wrong with sollys on westiminster every friday for great selection of challahs
or go to frozen section and bake it yourself..amazing..found in grocery stores..

I hear Cheskie's in Mile End has wonderful challah but still haven't yet tried it.

I'm not a Challah connaisseur, but lately the wife and I have been addicted to the ones at Fresser's on Decarie, just 1 block north of Cote St Catherine.

I will give a favorable nod to Cheskies regular challah although it tends to be well baked. The OP is referring to the round raisin challah that are generally baked only for the high holy days & the ones I bought from Cheskies yesterday morning, although good challah, were sorely lacking in raisins. The raisin challah my mom bought from Montreal Kosher Bakery in St. Louis shopping centre in Ville St. Laurent (2135 Rue Saint-Louis), had poppy seeds & lots of raisins. I have not had an opportunity to check if Atlantique on CDN sells raisin challah ... their regular challah is my favorite in the city.

I bought the triple raisin and the raisin, hazelnut and honey at Le Fournil, straight out of the oven when I went to pick up my order, to try out this evening.
