Frog Hollow Warren Pears are here !!!

Just noticed this in the CUESA newsletter.

These are serously one of the best pears I've ever hand and justifies Frog Hollow's existance to me. Last years post on Warren Pears.

As mentioned there, last year El Cerrito Naturals was selling the Frog Hollow pears.

    Monterrey Market has FH Warrens for $2.90lb...

      Amazing that they can undersell the FH stand at the farmers market. I bought a 10-pound box last Saturday at the Berkeley farmers mkt. for $30. They're holding up well, and yes, they're wonderful.

        The cream of the crop goes to Ferry Plaza and the farmers markets.While El Cerrito Naturals had the pears, they weren't as pretty or big as those in the farmers markets ... still taste good though.

          I think El Cerrito Natural Foods was cheaper, though.

      Ooh, thank you for this post. I had my first Warren Pear last year - bit into it as I was walking and nearly swooned. Had to stop and lean against the wall to finish eating it, and have been waiting all year for reports of its return.
