oven baked ribs for tomorrow

okay, I have 4 racks of st louis ribs-- 10 pounds in all. I am planning on making a rub with cumin, paprika, chili powder and salt and pepper. and sugar. My question is-- should I put the rub on tonight and let it sit over night in the fridge?
tomorrow I will cook uncovered at 180 for 6 hours--- a method a friend swears by--

  1. Rub tonight.

Check on the timing for the ribs, though. It's taken that long for me for 1 rack at 200 in the oven.

Let sit in fridge overnight with rub...Hmmm...not sure about the oven temp and time...

    2. Definitely marinate w/ the rub at least overnight. Below is a link to my old report outlining my method. Mine went for around 4 hrs. at 250F but I think lower (~200F) and slower would be even better. Good luck and let us know how it goes!
