Sunday Brunch

Looking for a good Sunday brunch place. We're staying in the Quarter, but the restaurant doesn't have to be located there. Been to Commander's before. Is Court of Two Sisters good?

  1. I'd skip Court of Two Sisters. I don't think you can top Brennan's for brunch in the French Quarter, though some will disagree with me. Outside of the Quarter, Dante's Kitchen in Riverbend has a superb brunch.

    1. Marigny Brasserie on Frenchmen- they have jazz on Sunday too!

      1. st james cheese co just started doing brunch.

        1. Italianguy,

I had a great Saturday Brunch at Brennan's. I never thought I'd write that review, but everything worked that day, so I came away with egg on my face, and it was not from my plate.

That said, on City Park Ave., up at the junction of Canal St (a couple of blocks away), is Ralph's on the Park. We've now done them for our "leaving NO" Sunday Brunch three times, and cannot imagine that we'll change that.

For a review containing both, see: http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/523095

If I had only one, that I could do, it'd be Ralph's, even if it meant a walk from the streetcar, or a cab ride.
