ISO: Old Montreal, less than $50/person dinner
I am in search of something decent in Old Montreal for an out of town guest who has never been to this part of the town.. We wont' be drinking much, maybe a glass per person at most. Is this budget attainable or should I take him to somewhere else followed by a walk in Old Montreal ? Any cuisine is fine.

Santos on the corner of St Francois Xavier and St Paul is a pretty good scoff for about that price. Food is very varied. Service is friendly, specially a big waiter called Ted. They do big plates of tapas-style bites that covereverything from octopus to tuna to `... can't remember but it was good.
