  1. Crabby Mikes seafood buffet in Surfside...........OMG it can't be beat! Crab legs and prime rib ON THE BUFFET plus hundreds of other items. It is unbelievable. We went twice the week we were there.

The Original Benjamins..........we went to the one in the Surfside area, however I think they have other places besides just this one. Buffet not quite as big as Crabby Mikes but still out of this world.

Mammy's Restaurant...........right in Myrtle Beach by where they tore down the Pavilion. They have the best breakfast buffet. Ate there twice, too. Never have eaten there for any other meal but menu looks great and hear their dinner buffet is good.

    Hamburger Joe's was good.

Gotta love Senor Frogs at Broadway on the Beach. Ate there twice that week, too! Great atmosphere and great food.

For good bar food there is Murphy's Law in Myrtle Beach and Surfside (and soon to be opening one somewhere else.........can't remember where they said)...........Spencer'z in Surfside...........and Oscars in North Myrtle. These are all Pittsburgh Steelers bars and the food is great bar food............can't be beat!

    Hope this helps..................

      Seafood--Sea Captain's House

      Mexican--Abuelo's

    2. We were just there in August and some of our faves were Drunken Jack's in Murrell's Inlet, River City Cafe (several locations) for great burgers and peanuts on the floor, and for great Italian- Villa Romano-food was delicious there.

I was in MB last week. Again, Abuelo's for Mexican and Sea Captain's House for seafood. Based on chowhound, we tried River City Cafe for burgers (so-so) and Drunken Jack's for seafood (again so-so). Neither was bad but neither was great either.

      2. try bonefish grill, caios for italian, collector's cafe for a fine dine, and think about heading to murrells inlet for seafood...where you have better food and atmosphere. Avoid broadway at the beach restaurants altogether.

Capt DAVE'S DOCKSIDE in Murrells inlet is great for dinner but the have a fantastic Sunday brunch.Salt Creek is a great place too.

        2. Salt Creek on Hwy 17 ByPass in the Murrell's Inlet area is a great place. Happy hour and early specials are tremendous value. They really care about their customers!
