Hi all,

I'll be spending a day researching at the Jewish Moroccan museum and am looking for recommendations for an inexpensive (preferably under 10 euros) lunch nearby. Most of the recs I've found so far on the board are either out of my price range or too far from the museum (which is located at Place Jean Vander Elst, 19/21). I'll also be in Gent for a day, if anyone has lunch suggestions there as well.

Thanks!
Patricia

  1. That's not my neck of the woods at all -- the only restaurant within walking distance I remember eating at is actually a rather charming little place (one of Brussels' oldest estaminets) called Au Vieux Spijtigen Duivel. The food is serviceable (or was) but the atmosphere is cozy in a very Belgian way. Will certainly come in under budget.
