Bangkok - In search of Kanom Krok vendors

I'll be in BKK for 4 days in October. I'll mostly be eating at street vendors and markets. I want to make sure that I get a few dozen kanom kroks in my belly. Who make the best ones (and where exactly are they located)?

  1. My favorite is Kanom Kroc Lopburi, located inside Chatuchak Weekend Market.
It's a little different than most; it's green!
Although the cart moves around a little, it's basic location is where the cart is on this map:

Do you know what makes them green?
      They look fabulous! Thanks.

Not sure; they're a bit saltier than most.

If you want to try them, note that she is only there Saturday and Sunday, during the weekend market operation.

    2. Not a street vendor or market atmosphere, but the food floor at the Emporium usually has kanom krok. There's another big mall that has a great sweets section, and they not only have kanom krok but also kanom ba-bin. If only I could remember which mall it was...somewhere along Sukhumvit (like that narrows it down...).

I think the green ones use pandan (ใบเตย).

I am salivating over all these talk of khanom krog. I have this knack of eating two at one go - just invert one over another & form this oval "sandwich" :-)
