Scallion Pancakes
Does anyone know of any Chinese restaurants in the Orlando area that serve Scallion Pancakes? It seems scallion pancakes are a standard at Chinese restaurants up north, but around here, I haven't been able to find them anywhere. Any suggestions?

juggler- I would be interested to see if you have found any yet? I am orig from Mass.. and have not found any around and I have asked at most places and they all say no they don't or won't make them. am not that familiar with Orlando yet to have been searching there. I do miss the Chinese restaurants from up north. All we have by me are strip mall shops - hardly what you would call a restaurant.
Thanks -

I never realized that scallion pancakes were actually Korean rather than Chinese. Like I said, up north in the NY/NJ area, it seems just about every Chinese restaurant that you go into has the pancakes on the menu. Here in FL, I found them at a Chinese restaurant once, which closed up about a month later.
I rarely eat Korean food, but I think I'll need to make a point of it to fill my scallion pancake craving. There are a few Korean restaurants that I've been meaning to try...

They have great ones at Gabose (Korean) on University in Plantation. Another great place is New Seoul on Lake Avenue in Lake Worth. Really delicious but in South Florida. Just look for a Korean place in Orlando. They're known for them. They're called panjun. Usually it's just scallions or seafood pancakes.
